International students are those who travel to a country different from their own for the purpose of the tertiary study. However students vary in each country in accordance to their own national education system. Prospective international students are usually required to sit for language tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, ITEP, PTE academic, DELE or DELF before they are admitted. While some international students already possess an excellent command of the local language upon arrival, some find their language ability, inadequate for the purpose of understanding lectures, considered excellent domestically and/or of conveying oneself fluently in rapid conversations. Our Host UK international students association are always present in front of you to serve you better.
U.K have been the most prestigious choices due to dominating university top 10 ranking with likes of Harvard, Cambridge and MIT. More recently however they had to compete with rapidly growing Asian higher education market. Host is a national charity which links international students at universities and colleges in the UK with British residents who volunteer to invite students to their homes for a day or weekend.
Having an international student as your guest gives you an opportunity to connect in the personal way with another part of the world. You can learn about guest’s culture and way of life, attitudes and aspiration. It is a great way to introduce younger members of the family to people from different backgrounds and helps to make geography, and current affairs, come alive. In the university many international students make little contact with British students and rarely have any involvement with community life beyond the campus. Apart from the travelling to the most obvious tourist destination, they see little of country and although they come here to immerse themselves in another culture.
