Student Creation on Devices
As we begin a new semester and a new year, we begin to focus on students' ability to go from consumers of information on the iPad to students using the iPad to create authentic meaningful products on the iPad. Student creation on devices starts with applications that allow students to incorporate not only text but pictures, audio, and video.
iMovie is available to students via Self Service on their iPads. With iMovie, students can create projects combining images, videos, text, and audio to show mastery and understanding of any TEKS or standard. All students to explore the application and go from consumers to creators.
Teachers, please mark your calendars for the mandatory Ranger Ready 1:1 Refresh Training taking place next week Monday, January 9th – Friday, January 13th. This refresh training will take place after school in the library from 2:45pm – 3:15pm.
