FCS celebrated Fat Tuesday and Mardi Gras by making French crepes and a King cake. They were pretty proud of their creations and they tasted great, too!
SMS Locks and Lockers
All students have been issued an assigned a locker and have been required to purchase a school lock paid for by student fees at the start of the school year. School locks must be on the locker at all times for safety and security purposes. We are asking for your continued support to remind your students to lock their lockers with their school issued lock for safety and security.
Students who do not have a lock will be provided a new lock by the school and their student fee accounts will be charged $5.79. Thank you for helping us communicate this to your student and for your continued support.

9th Grade Scheduling Information
9th Grade Scheduling InformationThe scheduling window for 8th graders to choose their courses for 9th grade begins on February 13th and ends February 22nd. 9th Grade class registration can be done on your own at any time when the portal is open, but all students will have the opportunity to complete their registration at school on Thursday, February 16th in their social studies class. Please be sure to talk with your child prior to that day about their courses for next year. To assist in choosing classes, please reference the following resources:

Don’t miss the return of the Harlem Wizards to Strongsville on Tuesday, March 7 at 6:30pm. Watch the Wizards compete in a fun-filled basketball game against a team of SCS All-Stars (Teachers & Staff) in the SHS Main Gymnasium. Strongsville Youth Lacrosse
Strongsville Youth Lacrosse - Registration for Spring Season NOW OPEN!
Come be a part of America’s fastest growing sport. Strongsville Youth Lacrosse has been growing since 2008 and registration for the 2023 spring season is now open for boys and girls in 2nd-8th grades! Indoor practices begin mid-February and the outdoor season runs from late March through May. All experience levels welcome. Girls Youth Strongsville Golf Camp
Join Strongsville High School Golf Team coaches and varsity golf players at the Girls Youth Strongsville Golf Camp! The camp is open to girls in 4th - 8th grades and focuses on developing the proper techniques in the golf swing, as well as improving skills for the short game and putting. The camp fee is $100 and will be held once a week in April and May from 6pm - 7pm at Valleaire Golf Club (6969 Boston Rd. / Hinckley).
