Seasons Greetings from the Library
Hour of Code
The week of December 7th - 11th is Hour of Code Week. In celebration, all students will join students across the globe in participating in computer coding during library skills - whole group, partners, or independently. Students will receive an introduction to computer programming and try out some awesome activities using the code.org website. Computer sciences are an up and coming field - this week's activities can spark an interest in many of our students. If you're not familiar with coding, check out some of the resources on the Hour of Code website. Or try some of the tutorials yourself!
In order to free up space, we've been asked to prioritize the apps on the cart. If there are apps that are used on a daily/weekly basis we will leave those on the cart. If there are others that are used sporadically they may be removed and then added when specific projects approach. If you use the iPads in your classroom, please complete this survey to share your feedback. If there are apps that are not selected, they may be removed from the cart.
Thanks for your patience in this process.
