Babirusa
Every Friday you can pet our Babirusa! Babirusa normally weigh 157 pounds and can live for about 17 years. Babirusa usually have a height of 3 feet 2 inches. Babirusa particularly enjoy living in moist forests located in warm areas. We have designed a habitat that is a moist forest with plenty of trees. The area of the habitat will be 48 by 48 inches or 16 feet. The volume, or space inside the habitat is 48 inches by 48 inches by 110 feet or 1,760 feet. We hope you visit our Babirusa habitat!
Banded Armadillo
On Tuesdays visit our zoo to find the "Banded Armadillo" hunt! These mammals live up to 13 years and usually weigh 9 pounds. They usually are 8 inches tall, or 2/3 of a foot. They live in a range of habitats, preferably dry grassland with weeds. I will design a very dry habitat with plenty of grass to nibble on. The area of the habitat will be 36 by 24 inches, or 6 feet. The volume, or space inside the habitat will be 36 by 24 by 60 inches or 30 feet. We hope you visit our Banded Armadillo habitat!
Caecilian
Come on Thursdays to see our Caecilians! These dirty worms weigh about 2 pounds each and can stretch up to 4 and a half feet long. Normally, they live for about 13 years. They live in a wet, tropical climate with high temperatures. The habitat will be near water, but will be directly under the sun. The area of the habitat will be 6 feet by 6 feet or 36 feet. The volume of the habitat will be 6 by 6 by 6 feet or 216 feet. We hope you visit our Caecilian habitat!
Coati
Come on saturday to visit our Coati! These cute animals normally weigh about 16 pounds and have a height of 3.5 feet. They would normally live for 13 years. Our habitat is a grassland with relatively warm temperatures. The area of the habitat will be 84 by 36 inches, or 21 feet. The volume of the habitat will be 84 by 36 by 60 inches, or 105 feet. Galapagos Tortoise
We hope you visit our Galapagos tortoise every sunday! They weigh about 475 pounds and have a height of about 4 feet. They can live for 100+ years. Our habitat will have the same temperature as a cool island. The area of the habitat will be 60 by 60 inches, or 25 feet. The volume of the habitat will be 60 by 60 by 84 inches, or 175 feet.
