Body Safety Presentations

Thorpe Creek Elementary School and Hamilton Southeastern Schools are partnering with Chaucie’s Place, a child advocacy organization in Hamilton County, to bring Smart Steps: A Body Safety Program for Children to our Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade students. Smart Steps is a child sexual abuse prevention and education program that empowers your child to say “NO!” to any unwanted touches that make them uncomfortable.

The program will be presented to all Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade students at Thorpe Creek Elementary school on March 30th and 31st. Each presentation is given in individual classrooms and will last approximately 30 minutes. Chaucie’s Place provides presenters for these presentations and at least one TCE school staff member will sit in on each presentation, as well. Although not required, each child's attendance in the program is strongly recommended. To learn more about Chaucie’s Place visit: www.chauciesplace.org.

If you have any questions or do not want your child to participate, please contact school counselors Mrs. Lisa Koers, 317-594-4310 ext. 2272 or Mrs. Jackie Fiesbeck, 317-594-4310 ext. 2287.

Fall Creek Elementary PTO

Is your child moving onto Fall Creek Elementary next school year? If you are interested in joining the PTO, or just helping out at the school, please contact Gemma at gemlavender@gmail.com. Many of our parent volunteers are 'aging out' or being redistricted next school year and the PTO really needs replacement volunteers, both on the board and also for many of its committees. This is an excellent way to be involved in the school community and get to know your new school!

Contact the PTO: Please email us with any questions/concerns: FCEPTO@yahoo.com and remember to like us on Facebook (Fall Creek Elementary PTO, Fishers, IN).
