Can Music Help Bullying?

Insecurity over ourselves drives much of the cruelty in the world. Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year. Approximately 160,000 teens skip school every day because of bullying. In teens, 1 out of 8 are depressed. However, studies have shown that many people listen to music or play an instrument to help them with depression or anxiety.
You don't believe that music can really help you? Well, what do most athletes do to get pumped up before a game? They listen to music. Music can boost your mood, this could help you in any way.
Depression can also be caused by stress. Stress could be caused by studying, test scores, or school in general. Music can also help you with your schooling. When you are studying try and listening to music while you work, you will probably get more work done. Some students say music helps them study. Also, the type of music you listen to can effect the amount you get done while you are studying. Some music genres can be very distracting while studying, like heavy medal. Slower songs are probably better to study with.
