Not safe in North Face Factories
Not all people working in The North Face factories are safe
Workers burned alive!
In 2011 on December 14, a fire broke out on the ninth and tenth floors of an American clothing factory overseas. Twenty-eight people died that day making clothing for American companies, including The North Face. The people working in the factories were mostly young and poor women.
Factories not in proper working order.
That day, when the fire broke out , multiple exits were blocked that put the workers in danger. Now activists are pressuring the factories to improve safety conditions in multi-story factories.
