What Are We Learning???
We will continue our study on buildings. This week we have the librarian here on Tuesday and Ms. Shelly's group on Wednesday. Also, the kids will be making a city. Each child has picked a building they would like to make - look for our city in the hallway! Friday is our 100th day celebration. We will be building structures that are 100 items tall and making cereal necklaces with 100 pieces of cereal.
In the next couple of weeks we will be doing our unit on boxes and then reduce, reuse, recycle. If you have any empty boxes (food, packages, shoes, etc.) that you want to send in for us to use please do!!
Speech-Language Group- Feb 1-5, 2016
We will follow directions to identify our first name and place our name card into a container. We will read the book Oink! Moo! How Do You Do? by Grace Maccarone. We will label the animals and their sounds, and identify words that rhyme. We will review the words and actions to the nursery rhyme “Little Miss Muffet”.
Little Miss Muffet
Little Miss Muffet
Sat on a tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey.
Along came a spider,
And sat down beside her,
And frightened
Miss Muffet away.
