Happy Sunday Pirates!
It has been a great start to April in the boro' and we only have 8 days until spring break!! Our athletic teams were on fire last week with victories across the board on Thursday night at Northside and congrats to our varsity baseball team for winning at White Oak on Wednesday night. The girls soccer game at White Oak was exciting too with an overtime loss. We also had much to celebrate last week with the arts reception at the airport on Monday night and recognition for Grant Meadows and Coach Evans on Tuesday at the board meeting.
A special thank you goes to our prom committee for doing an outstanding job decorating and preparing for prom. A wonderful time was had by all and we would like to wish a congratulations to Grayson Crittenden and Emmanuel Barias for being nominated as our prom queen and king. Congratulations also to Brianna Calvin and Hunter Westerberg for being nominated as our prom princess and prince.
Our seniors had an assembly on Friday with the Coastal Carolina Community College Continuing Education program. Students should consider certification options available at CCCC as wonderful opportunities to find part or full time employment after graduation. Please remember that Monday is our WorkKeys assessment and late arrival seniors who are being assessed need to arrive by 7 am. Students will also receive report cards tomorrow. Our S2S club has an exciting week of activities planned for Military Student Spirit Week!
