Here we find ourselves in the seventh week of virtual learning and grand applause to you wonderful teachers! This week is TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK!
This evening I sent out a great message out to our families for kids to celebrate you. Please look out for these little surprises from them so you are in the know:

- Tuesday- Poem Day! Write your teacher a poem and send it to them!
- Wednesday- Joke Day! Tell your teacher a funny joke! Make them laugh!

- Friday- YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE! Wear Yellow and let your teacher know they are sunshine to your lives.
Please send groupme photos of your students participating in teacher appreciation week!
I also have little daily memos, gifts, and appreciation up my sleeve all week. Every day is a surprise! Stay tuned. :)
I also have organized your "future cohort" meetings this week. Please look out for those invitations. Read the section below on how to prepare for your "future cohort" meeting.
Finally, I want to let you know that you what you do each day is admirable. You are a group of amazing warrior teachers and staff members that I truly am and will always be grateful to have led. The amazing things you do for kids from the smallest gestures to grandest plans to ensure they have the best education or experiences. Well. I can't really say how humbled I am to have even have been in your presence.
This week, teach with all your heart (as you always do) and enjoy your students!
Wildcat love,
Rachel Martinez
Week 7 Priorities
1) PLCs with Grade Levels: Make sure to review the Digital Backpacks for this week and then decide as a team what you will be grading your students for each subject.
