Homecoming Dance October 15th 8-11PM OTHS Main Commons
Homecoming – 2016
The Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, October 15th, 8:00 – 11:00 PM in the Main Commons. Attached is a power point that was shown to the students on Thursday outlying some of the major details about the dance. Some of the highlights include:
Ø Dress Code – all important parts must be covered. We understand there are many different styles of dresses. We ask that the dresses are tasteful and appropriate for a school dance. It is difficult to establish exactly what kind of dresses are deemed appropriate but some examples can be found on the power point. Should your student have a question about what is school acceptable, we encourage them to show a picture to their grade-level assistant principal prior to the dance for approval.
Ø Bringing a Guest – this year, we are not requiring a guest form if your child is bringing a guest from another school. However, ALL students must have a current student ID in order to enter the dance. A valid driver’s license is also acceptable. All students must be under the age of 21. Students who do not have a student ID will have to purchase one at the gate for $3.00 in order to enter the dance.
The Homecoming football game will take place on Thursday, October 13th @ 6:30 PM vs. Strake Jesuit at Rhodes Stadium.
