I look forward to majoring in Sports Marketing next year at Elmhurst College and using my knowledge from taking this class in the rest of my schooling and future career.
Entrepreneurship IS appealing to me because...
I feel encouraged to own and operate my own business; being the boss sounds great. The advantages of making the profit for yourself, choosing who works for you, and not having to listen to anyone else say what you should do differently about the product appeal to me. I'm not discourage having to be a risk taker...i'm willing to take the biggest risk for my business.
I HAVE many of the skills and characteristics that are essential to entrepreneurs such as...
I'm fully capable of being a successful entrepreneur. I'm a risk taker always pushing the envelope when it comes to coaching my team to their full potential which I can use when operating my business. I'm outspoken and will speak my mind when appropriate which I learned being on a team expressing what I felt would work and wouldn't. I'm sociable and willing to make friends with everyone and have been able to create connections in my own life gaining an internship after high school. I'm hardworking which I've proven through coaching and spending countless hours creating routines which will transfer into a business environment. I'm determined to create a successful business and I won't stop working until it is as I did taking my team to the top and winning four consecutive National Championships.
My entrepreneurship self-assessment categorize me not fit to be a entrepreneur, but displaying these 5 characteristics about myself i'll be even more determined to make it and be successful.
I CAN have a successful business that...
I'm interested in owning my own restaurant. I love food, cooking, and people. I believe owning my own restaurant gives me the freedom to create food people can't get here and the way I want to make it; quality not quantity in comparison to McDonald's (quantity). I've traveled the world at a young age and tried some very diverse food and I want to bring it all home to Chicago in one restaurant. The power of not having to follow a food chains set list of what goes in what in my own restaurant is what moved me the most to decide to be an entrepreneur.
