A Message from Dr. Stone
Good afternoon!
This Saturday is Race Day! Team Woodstock will be racing to raise money for the Katy ISD Education Foundation - and we need your support now! Watch my video below to see how you can easily help WoodCreek bring home the Golden Shoe!
Check out the rest of the Timberwolf Times for important information from our PTA, about course selection, about athletics, and about our yearbook. There's a lot of great things going on at WCJH and we don't want you to miss out!
Regards,
Dr. Melinda Stone

Last Chance to Help WCJH Win!
If you haven't heard, WCJH is partnering up with Stockdick Junior High for a Reason2Race on February 8, 2020. The race raises money for the KatyISD Foundation that provides grants to classroom teachers in our district so they can continue to provide unparallelled experiences for students. WCJH has been fortunate to benefit from these grants in past years! The campus team who raises the most money gets "The Golden Shoe" and bragging rights for the whole year. If you feel so inclined, please consider donating any amount of money to any of our staff members who have signed up!
We appreciate your support!

AP Human Geography Summer Bridge Program
Students entering 9th grade in the fall of 2020 who have selected AP Human Geography during course selection are strongly encouraged to complete the Summer Bridge Program. The program consists of an online skills component and a face-to-face writing workshop. The program does not impact GPAs. To assist students in the program, AP Human Geography teachers will maintain summer office hours.
For more information visit https://tinyurl.com/APHumanSummer2020
What is it? The AP Human Geography Summer Bridge Program is an optional course that provides students with the background knowledge and skills to better access course content, and ultimately be more successful in the course and on the AP exam. A face-to-face writing workshop is part of the program to support writing in AP Human Geography. This is not a graded course that will impact a student’s GPA.
How long will the course take? The online portion of the Summer Bridge Program is designed to be completed within 2 weeks. Students have the option to complete either Session 1: June 8-19, 2020 OR Session 2: July 13-24, 2020 and will indicate their choice during registration. The writing workshop dates will be provided during registration.
What is the cost? This course is grant funded; there is no charge.
