What's New in Room 182

Mrs. Peters' 3rd Grade * September 16, 2016

Learning our way around 3rd grade...

This week we set the stage for many of our literacy and math routines and visited both libraries for our first books! I am so inspired by the writer, reader, and mathematician inside each of your students!

I cannot wait to see everyone for Parent Information Night on Wednesday and show off your students' work and goals. I'll be sharing more details about our daily schedule and what you can expect from the year, as well!

See you soon!

Mrs. Peters

Family Journals...

...are coming home for the first time today! Your student should have a green letter in their Daily Folders to explain this fun tool that encourages proper letter writing and family involvement! If your student's letter is incomplete this week, worry not... This is a learning experience and just our first time through the routine! We would still love it if you found time this weekend to write a letter back on the following page... And as always, let me know if you have any questions!!

Focus on the Curriculum

This week, we will continue developing our reading and writing routines and dive into what makes us great communicators!
