Serving as an unofficial ambassador in Indonesia and then bringing the experience home at the community level will put Northeastern students at the vanguard of a new generation of citizen diplomats who will determine what America’s relations will be with the Muslim World and the broader developing world in the years to come.
- Teach English full-time in one of four schools.
- Study Bahasa Indonesian language classes as well as engage in cultural enrichment trips and historic site visits in Yogyakarta and its surrounding areas.
- Live with the other unofficial ambassadors in shared housing at Gadjah Mada University.
