Deck The Hall of Trees
Come see Bowie's Christmas Tree at the annual Hall of Trees display in the Irving Arts Center.
This Friday, December 6th from 5:30-7:30 is the Annual Holiday Open House- Navidad Latinoamerica! Celebrating Christmas Traditions of Latin America. The event is free and open to the public.
Irving Arts Center is open every day of the week. Pop in with your family and out of town guests to view the Christmas Trees and, while you're there, adults only can vote for their favorite Christmas Tree through the Viewer's Choice Award booth until December 22.
Gallery Hours
Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday evenings, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Books As Movies
Over the holidays make sure you check out this latest book as movie YA feature. (We are also reading the book for our faculty book club.) Book Thief by Markus Zusak tells the story of the horrors of World War II from Death's point of view. Liesel, a young German girl, steals books to sustain her family and the Jewish man they are hiding.
