The Kids are Home... Now What?
Week of May 4-8
A Note from the Principal
The last week of new learning has arrived! I want to give a shout out to all of YOU-parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, and students who have assisted in this new way of learning! I could not be happier with the results of our student engagement. Last week we had 291 AR test taken! This warms my heart to know you are reading! Continue this practice all summer-this will help you maintain your reading level as we enter the new school year.
This week you will be assigned the last week of new learning please know the next few weeks will be a time for you finish up any of those assignments you may not have been able to accomplish. Please see letter about grade posted at the bottom of this newsletter.
This week is staff appreciation week. I enjoy spreading love to our staff members for all the hard work they continue to provide for our students each day~maybe this week you can give a shout out to some of the teachers/staff as well. Drop a card in our mailbox, post a photo to seesaw, or twitter. How many of you miss your bus driver, Nurse Mandy, or Miss Ann? I can assure you they miss you too!
