ROCORI ELEMENTARY VIRTUAL CALMING ROOM
his past year has been especially challenging dealing with the pandemic. We know that during difficult times, we can experience a wide range of emotions. You might be feeling scared, confused, overwhelmed, stressed, angry, lonely, frustrated, grateful or even calm. No matter what you are feeling, all feelings are valid.
The ROCORI District School Counselors and Social Workers are here to help and support you in any way possible. We’ve created a virtual calming room to provide families and students a place to find tools and strategies to help positively manage emotions and feelings. If you simply just need a break, a moment to find peace or a distraction from life’s stressors, please feel free to use this virtual space.
Don’t forget to take care of yourself and the ones you love. We are all in this together. If you need assistance beyond the use of the virtual calming room, please reach out to your school counselor/ social worker for help. We are here for you!
One District, One Book
We are excited to announce that Wishtree by Katherine Applegate will be our ROCORI One District, One Book this year. Watch future bulletins for timelines and details on how to participate!
