Shannon Park School Spirit Day: HAT DAY
We Appreciate our Bus Drivers!
We are so grateful for our Shannon Park Bus Drivers who faithfully transport students safely every day! In honor of School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, our 5th grade Kindness Council members greeted bus drivers to recognize each one for their efforts to go above and beyond in order to transport students to school every day!
Thank You for Your Service
Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Burdick, 1st Grade Teacher
This is my 11th year of teaching. Prior to this year, I taught kindergarten at Southview Elementary in Apple Valley. As a teacher, I love building relationships with students, creating a true classroom family within the walls of my classroom, and helping each student develop a true love for learning. Before having kids, I also coached soccer, basketball and track at Rosemount High School. Sports are something I absolutely love and a big part of who I was growing up. I played soccer, basketball and ran track in high school (at RHS) and played basketball in college at the University of Minnesota, Crookston too.
Besides being active, my family loves spending the summers at our family cabin, being outside, watching movies, playing games and spending time with those we love most. Shannon Park is a community like no other! I feel so fortunate to be back as both a teacher and parent. Thank you for making Shannon Park what it is and for being so welcoming!
