Good Start to a Great Season!

The Redhawk volleyball team won their first game on Tuesday against the Iroquis/Doland Chiefs! When asked about the game Coach Runia said "I was impressed with the first match of the season. The girls came out with great energy and team comradery; which made the play of the go well. There are always things to work on and improve, but overall the first home match was a success for the Redhawks! Coach Carmody said "The girls did a great job, played really well together, and had great chemistry! Kate Wegner commented that "They played really well as a team and overall got it together and played really well together!" The Redhawks beat the Chiefs in 4 thrilling sets making a good start to a great season!

Senior Interviews

Lily Cruz

This week we interviewed senior Lily Cruz! This year Lily is looking forward to homecoming, football games, and applying to college. Some of her favorite things about high school have been doing teachers aid and all state choir. Lily participated in football cheer in her freshman through junior years. She is planning to go LATC for cosmetology after that she wants to work in a hair salon and hopefully someday own her own salon. Lily says if she wasn't going to school for cosmetology she would want to go for psychology. Her favorite thing about being a Redhawk is the school pride!
