Check Out What's Happening in 4th Grade

Learning Targets

Reading: In reading we are going over plot, sequence, and summarization.

Writing: The students will finish drafting their narratives and then we will go through the process of revising and editing.

Social Studies: On Monday, we are starting our Native American ELM unit.

Math: In math we are starting 2 by 2 multiplication. Please be practicing facts at home, it helps it go smoother. Also we will continue to do 1/10 and 10 times numbers.

Science: We will launch our Matter Unit.

Friday, September 16: PTO Room Rep Meeting 9AM in the Science Lab; 3rd Grade Raytheon/LASER Visit

Saturday, September 17: Constitution Day

September 19-23: STUCO Sponsored Student Appreciation Week, 4th and 5th grade choir begins

Tuesday, September 20: Tuesday choir; 5th Grade Camp Parent Meeting 6:15PM; PTO General Meeting, Curriculum Showcase and Perot Tech Truck 7PM; Watch DOGS sign up begins; Taste it Tuesday - cherry tomatoes and jicama

Wednesday, September 21: Wednesday choir, 1st-5th Grade Progress Reports go home

Friday, September 23: STUCO Store 7:30-7:50AM, Principal Coffee 8:15AM, Friday Live 2:15PM, 4th Grade Recorder money due in Music

Monday, September 26: Picture Day! Creed Lunch 11AM
