Welcome Back!!

Welcome Back to the new school year!

Let's plan to have a great 2015-2016 school year! I think it is going to be a SWEET year! Help yourself to the sweets in the lounge as we start the year!

We are off to a great start with the building looking great. Katie has everything looking great to start our year. She will be returning to 2nd shift this week. At this time, seems to change often, Virgil Thomas (previously a noon hour) will be working first shift.

Let's make those connections with students to make it a great year for you and them!

A Look At the Week

Tuesday: First Day! Kindergarten Orientation @ 9:30; Playground Expectations; Open House; 6 - 7:30

Wednesday: Kindergarten first day! PBS Expectation Tour


Friday: First week done! It always feels much longer than a 4 day week!

Open House

Attendance at the Open House is a contractual obligation of all teaching staff. Please let me know if you will not be in attendance. I will have a Parent Sign-In Sheet in your mailbox Tuesday. Please encourage parents to sign in as I would like to document how many of the parents attend our Open House. If you would like to use your own sign in just make a copy for me. I will be presenting the School Improvement Plan in the Media Center at 5:30 (A Title I note is going home with students today) and will be circulating about the building during the Open House.

Class Newsletters

Many of you share your welcome letters home with me. Thanks. I would appreciate a copy of any newsletters you send home. Feel free to put it in the mailbox on my door or just email me a copy. This just helps me to stay informed of what is going on in the building.

Playground Expectations

10:45 - Jubenville, Vicari, VanWormer

11:00 - Lynch, Raether, Welch

11:15 - Johnson, Rice, McLean, LaForest

11:30 - Coyner, Bell

We will meet outside the library doors weather permitting and in the library if needed. Noon hours will review expectations and show classes where to line up to come in for lunch following lunch recess.
