Summer Reading
DW Reading Lists Over the summer, all students entering sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade are required to read specific grade level novels. Please refer to the Summer Reading Lists on the DW website to access each grade level's specific summer reading letter and possible corresponding questions. | Half Day Readers Check out the new Half Day library website where you can find reading resources and recommendations as well as award winning books from renown authors. Please check out the summer reading book lists for Grades 3-5. | Sprague Books The Vernon Area Public Library has compiled its library collection by levels so that children can enjoy books from early reader to picture book from their favorite authors. |

D103 educators have put together an extensive list of curated learning resources to support parents who are interested in providing their child(ren) with academic support to maintain academic skills during the summer. Resources come from Clever, BrainPop, virtual maker's space, STEM at home projects, and Wonderopolis to name a few websites for families to explore with their children.

Board of Education Meeting
The next regular Board meeting will occur on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. The notice and agenda can be found on the District 103 Board meeting web page. Meetings are now being held in person only.
