SHS Football Message
It was great meeting all of you on Wednesday night!
If you happen to know someone that was unable to attend the meeting, please pass along my contact information and have them reach out to me so I can connect with them.
As I discussed, our coaching staff will be getting together over the next week to get our schedule in order. We will have that completed sometime next week and will update the schedule on Basecamp accordingly. For now, plan on a voluntary practice a week from tomorrow (April 3rd) on the game field from 9-11am. Players will need cleats and water.
**REMINDER - CURRENT 8TH GRADE STUDENTS CANNOT PARTCIPATE WITH HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES UNTIL THEIR SPRING SEASON CONCLUDES IN MAY!
A quick note for all players...please get onto Hudl and start looking things over. If you are not set up with Hudl, send me a 'Ping' and I will work with getting you added!
As a reminder on communicating, remember to 'Ping' when you are looking to talk with a specific person. Replies (below) are for communicating with everyone.
Have a great and safe Spring Break!

The Romantic Road
Traveling to German usually involves a trip to “Cinderella’s” castle in Bavaria, but did you know that Neuschwanstein (the real name of the castle) is just one of several sites along what is known as the “Romantic Road” (Die Romantische Straße)? The Romantic Road is a picturesque 350-kilometer route through the forests and mountains in Southern Germany. Its northern point is Würzburg and its southern-most point is Füssen (the town in Bavaria closest to Castle Neuschwanstein). Along the “Road” you will experience beautiful palaces, towns, and other historical sites. It is a must see for any visitor to Germany. My German I students researched the best places to visit, best places to stay, and some wonderful authentic restaurants. Ask your student about planning a trip along the Romantic Road! They can be your guide! You will be amazed at what treasures they discovered! If you are considering travel to Germany, take a look at this video by Deutsche Welle. After watching it, you will surely be convinced that “Die Romantische Straße” is worth your time. Der Weg ist das Ziel! Happy wandering! https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=43&v=mC9kd_-q5jMFree meals for Spring Break
All students can receive free meals to cover Spring break.
Families can pick up 6 days worth of meals (breakfast and lunch) to enjoy over the Spring break.
Meals will be available for distribution on March 29th at WHS (Southwest side) from 9am-11am.
To receive the meals, just show up at the location and tell us how many children you have between the ages of 0-18. **No need to pack up the kids to receive meals!
