Friday Focus

Carroll Elementary School believes that by fostering a positive, safe and secure learning environment that includes a comprehensive curriculum and involvement of all stakeholders, all students will be successful academically, socially, and emotionally.

Message for the Week

You are a Leader! Every day you spend at Carroll Elementary, you lead in some way...from students to coworkers. So how do you become a strong leader?

Model. Be what it is you want to see more of. Do what it is you want everyone else to do. We lead by example--one way or the other.

Connect. Have more meaningful conversations. Show people the big picture more often. Let them know you have their back and appreciate them. Ask more questions. Listen. Connecting is how you will learn more, inspire more, and encourage people too make more good things happen.

Involve. Care about the people you work with. Involve them the way you would like to be involved. Treat them like you'd want to be treated. Wherever possible, get involved in leading the effort to make something special happen.
