STUDENTS MAY BE DROPPED OFF NO EARLIER THAN 7:50AM! STAFF WILL GREET STUDENTS AT THE DOORS AT 7:50AM!

Minutos de Sra. Hutchins

Hello Fronteras Families!

What a great week together! THANK YOU so much to all the families who donated lunch and snack items to our forgotten lunch stash! You are generous, amazing, and so VERY appreciated!

We are super excited to share that our school’s charter was approved unanimously by our local school board Wednesday evening! The final step of approval is with the State School Board in Juneau. Charters are renewed for 10 years; which means Fronteras will renew again in 2032. Seems so far away, but it will be here before we know it.

Fronteras Halloween is next Wednesday the 27th. Students may wear costumes all day unless your child’s homeroom teacher communicated different information. All costumes must be school appropriate (no weapons, excessive blood/gore) and appropriate for all ages.

Conferences are being scheduled for next Thursday and Friday. Please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher if you have not received conference information.

Thank you for sharing your children with us! It’s hard to believe we are in second quarter already!

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!

Mrs. Hutchins

Subway!

Subway forms are due every Tuesday by 2:30pm!

REMINDER: If your student is absent the day Subway is delivered the sandwich will be kept in the office fridge for one day, then thrown away. You are welcome to swing by the school and pick it up.

Scholastic Book Fair!

The Fair will run from October 15 through November 5.

There is a small display of books outside of the library for kids to look at, however, the fair is all online. This year we are asking our families to "shop" using this digital order form: https://neartail.com/sm/neZMp4EwH

After orders have been received, Scholastic will ship all items to the school for delivery. The money we make from the Book Fair allows us to add more books into the library!

Volunteer Opportunities!

Interested in helping in the school library? We need you! Looking for parent volunteers to help during class library time. You will be checking out books to students, helping students find books, and shelving returned books. If interested, please call or text Kirsten at 315-7753.
