WEEKLY STAFF BULLETIN
SEPTEMBER 10-14
WEEKLY STAFF BULLETIN
Happy Monday.
I liked being able to get into the classrooms more last week. There was great instruction and activities which had students engaged. Thank you to the eighth grade teachers for the additional supervision on Friday in the cafeteria. Also, I was very impressed with the discussions and the goals for the Focus Groups for this year. It is great to work with teachers that are motivated to do great things for the success of our students.
This week I focused on Learning Menus or also called Choice Boards. Take a minute to watch the video and check out the links which have useful information and resources. Let me know if you have any questions.
Have a wonderful week!

Learning menus or also called choice boards are a useful tool for all students and abilities. You can easily include a wide range of options with varying levels of rigor on your learning menu and guide students in their choices to find a 'just-right fit" or a challenge that is just within their grasp. Learning menus allow for students to work independently, especially your highly capable students which allows you to work with small groups or individuals so you can meet all your students needs.
