Principal's Update: October
Hello Rawson Families!
I can honestly say that I was more excited for the start of this school year than any other year! I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Rawson school community. Meeting all of the students at Rawson has been a major highlight of my first month. Equally, I've enjoyed reconnecting with so many families that I knew as the Associate Principal at South Milwaukee Middle School. I know that this year, like all years, will present unique challenges. I also know that as a school community, we are primed to work together and overcome any obstacle.
Here is a little bit about me and my life outside of education. My wife, Liz and I have a full house, including four children and a dog. Three of the four are currently in elementary school, which gives me a greater appreciation for the challenges and rewards of this particular age group. There is never a dull moment! As a family, we enjoy camping, attending/participating in sports, board games, and any sort of outdoor adventure. Of course, Harry Potter is a big favorite in our house as well! I've enjoyed connecting with so many students over Harry Potter!
I am really looking forward to meeting and working with all of our families this year. Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
All the best,
Nick Anton

WOLF OF THE WEEK WINNERS
Wolf of the Week is an internal school award which celebrates the demonstration of positive character traits by our Rawson students. Our awesome Rawson staff will be selecting a variety of students per week who have continually demonstrated the SM Way Character Traits of honesty, kindness, perseverance, responsibility, and respect.
(Please keep in mind, these winners are not an exhaustive list. We have many children who consistently demonstrate strong character throughout their school day!)
Congratulations to the following Rawson Wolves! 🎉
