History
In 1995 Amazon.com was opened to the public. Its founder, Jeff Bezos wanted to make an online store that sold many items. Jeff quit his job and moved to Seattle, Washington. On the drive there he went over his business plan many times. At Seattle Jeff bought a house with a big garage to store the books that he would sell. Jeff also hired to employees to help make the website.

Impact On Society
Amazon changed society because people can quickly buy household items at good prices. Everyday lives are affected by amazon because they can do there everyday shopping with a computer. Through amazon you can donate to any charity you please. Life without amazon would mean a life that you would actually have to go to a store.
