Former Madison students earn scholarships
Please congratulate former Madison students Jorie Budzikowski, Peter Garnache, and Sarah Mueller for earning District 200 PTA scholarships. Each year, PTAs across District 200 contribute to the $500 college scholarships. Budzikowski, Garnache and Mueller, along with 27 other recipients, will receive their scholarships at an awards breakfast later in April.

Over 75 compelling nominations were received. While reading them, we were reminded how amazing our teachers are and how fortunate we are to be part of District 200. Nominations were submitted by parents/guardians, alumni, staff, students or community members and reviewed via a blind process by a volunteer panel of three retired District 200 principals.
Congratulations to our 2017 All-Star Volunteer Recipients!

Submit your inspiration nominations
Are you the parent of a child who has been inspired by a District 200 teacher or staff member? With your child, take a minute to tell us about it.
Over a year ago, the PTA Council and the Superintendent's Office developed the Inspiration Nomination program to honor our District 200 staff members and acknowledge all that they do for our students. Forms are available in the Madison office, or you can can download the form here and submit it to Erica Loiacono at erica.loiacono@cusd200.org. You can either email a scanned copy (or photo) to erica.loiacono@cusd200.org, or you can turn it into the PTA President mailbox.
Any Inspiration Nomination received will be shared with the staff member nominated along with recognition by the Superintendent and PTA Council. Then, two times per year, the Council and Superintendent will surprise select staff members who have really gone above and beyond by visiting their classroom and recognizing their work personally.
