November 9, 2022 - NEWSLETTER
Hello Centerview Families,
Whew, I noticed that extra hour of sleep on Sunday and Monday morning as we all fell back an hour on the clock. Nothing like immediate relief! I hope each of you were able to seize the extra sleep time as well!
It’s Scholastic Book Fair week at Centerview! The book fair always brings great enthusiasm to the building as students are eager to preview and identify their favorite books. Family volunteers are plentiful with students and staff so appreciative of their time, effort and support of the event. We strongly encourage families to set up an e-wallet for a safe, cashless way to purchase books during the fair.
Centerview, and all of our Spring Lake Park elementary schools, will be hosting Tour and Talk events at the end of the month. We welcome any families with children who will be entering preschool and kindergarten next year to come and visit. We also kick off a series of Tour and Talk opportunities at Spring Lake Park High School. Please share Tour and Talk information with friends, neighbors and others who may be interested in our schools and encourage them to sign up and come visit.
Enjoy the remainder of the week! Appreciate all the support you provide your students and our school community!
Take care,
Mike
Flu alert
Flu season is here. Along with the rest of Minnesota, Spring Lake Park Schools is experiencing an increase in flu and flu-like illness. Please help keep our community healthy. Continue to practice good hand hygiene and keep your student home when they are sick.

Support during upcoming holidays
It's that time of year when a variety of different holidays are approaching. If you celebrate Thanksgiving or Christmas and need some extra support during this upcoming season, there may be programs within our district or local community where we can connect families. Please reach out to Rachel Perez , the Social Worker & Community Resource Liaison at Centerview (763-600-5825) for more information.
