BOOK FAIR WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING!
March 2nd, Monday-
- Dr. Seuss Day - Students can celebrate by wearing anything Dr. Seuss related
- Dr. Seuss Read Aloud after announcements for students
- Say Something Week- Promise Club Sign Ups at breakfast and lunch (details below)
- National Breakfast Week- Show your support by eating breakfast- Breakfast is special this week. Handouts of the Menu were sent home with students last week.
- No Tutorial on Monday
- AR Read Aloud at the end of the newsletter
- Sebring Museum for half of Kindergarten
March 3rd, Tuesday-
- Dr. Seuss Read Aloud after announcements for students
- Say Something- "Trusted Adults" and "Upstanders" Banners -students sign
- Tutorials
- AR Read Aloud at the end of the newsletter
- Sebring Museum for remaining Kindergarteners
March 4th, Wednesday-
- Dr. Seuss Read Aloud after announcements for students
- Wear green to show your support for "Say Something" Week
- Sebring Museum for half of first grade
- Tutorials
- AR Read Aloud at the end of the newsletter
March 5th, Thursday-
- Dr. Seuss Read Aloud after announcements for students
- Contest for K-1, 2-3, and 4-5 on a piece of writing or piece of art that exemplifies the "Say Something" Theme- Pieces must be displayed in hall by 8:30 am and a team will determine 1st , 2nd and 3rd place in each grade category.
- Sebring Museum for remaining first graders
- Tutorials
- AR Read Aloud at the end of the newsletter
March 6th, Friday-
- Dr. Seuss Read Aloud after announcements for students
- Talent Show Pizza party
- Say Something category winners will be announced
- AR Leader Board Announced
- Hat day for Dr. Seuss, can wear red and white too

This week is associated with several different celebrations, remembrances, and initiatives.
March 2nd is Dr. Seuss Day!
We will celebrate by hearing a read aloud every morning after announcements, pledge and National Anthem.
On Monday, you can wear anything associated with Dr. Seuss and his many books.
On Friday, you can wear a Dr. Seuss hat or wear red and white.
Read Across America Month Kicks off on Dr. Seuss' Birthday!
National School Breakfast Week is March 2nd -6th!
Be sure and have breakfast at school to get in on the fun!
Let's see if we can get the highest breakfast participation in the school district this week!
Central will have a PROMISE Club sign up and a few banners to show their support. There will also be a contest.
Wear Green on Wednesday to show your support and that you are a part of the Promise Club.
The contest on March 5th is for K-1, 2-3, and 4-5 on a piece of writing or piece of art that exemplifies the "Say Something" Theme- Pieces must be displayed in hall by 8:30 am and a team will determine 1st , 2nd and 3rd place in each grade category which will be announced on Friday, March 6th.

CES Tutorials
Students attending over 85% of tutorial sessions will receive a completion certificate and participate in celebration party in the cafeteria once tutorial is over.
We will begin the week of Feb. 3rd and run till April 23rd.
