December 15th
Next Week
Next week will be a week filled with fun! We will be doing many fun holiday activities. There will be NO homework next week. Our holiday parties will be held on Monday December 19th from 1:00-2:00.
Winter Weather
The weather is getting very cold, this means that snow will be coming soon! Please make sure your child's teachers knows how your child is getting home in the case of an early dismissal. Also we go outside every day as long as the temperature is above 32 degrees. Make sure your child has a heavy coat, gloves and a hat. It is important that your child has their name in all of their winter wear.
Restock Supplies
Winter break is a fabulous time to restock your child's pencil box and school supplies. We have worked so hard we have broken crayons, no erasers and our composition books are full! If you are able to send in extra supplies it would be greatly appreciated!
Important!
In January a formal assessment will be given to your child to check their reading level. It is very important that your child continues to read over break. Long car rides and cold days are a great time to have your child read! If you need books please ask your child's teacher! Also, books make great gifts!
