I-Smile Dental Sealant (Updated; June 2022)
Trinity Muscatine Public Health has received a grant from the Iowa Department of Public Health to conduct a School-Based Dental Sealant program at your child's school. This grant allows Trinity Muscatine Public Health to provide a basic dental examination for children in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. We will determine if sealants are appropriate and if your child requires follow-up care. In addition to the dental examination, your child can also receive a fluoride varnish treatment. Fluoride can increase protection against tooth decay. This service is provided to your child for free; however, the grant does require Medicaid to be billed if your child has Medicaid health coverage. You'll also have to complete the online consent form by clicking here; https://is.gd/electronicsealantconsent
