NAMIWalk 2015

Saturday May 16, 2015

What is the NAMIWalk?

Every journey begins with that first step! As NAMIWalks celebrates our 13th Anniversary in 2015, we are proud to be the largest and most successful mental health awareness and fundraising event in America! Through NAMIWalks' public, active display of support for people affected by mental illness, we are changing how Americans view persons with a mental illness. This is leading to ensuring that help and hope are available for those in need. Please join us as we improve lives and our communities one step at a time.

Saturday, May 16th, 9:30pm

Veterans Park, Milwaukee, WI, United States

Milwaukee, WI

Mental Health America of WI (MHA) is forming a team for the NAMIWalk in Milwaukee this upcoming May. This is a 5k-but don't worry, you don't have to be a runner in order to attend this event! We are looking for a team who wants to have fun and raise awareness on mental illness! It is free to attend the walk, although donations are encouraged, but certainly not required. All proceeds raised will be donated to NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness.

If you or anyone you know is interested in joining MHA's team please contact me, Haley Karrels, at I can provide you with more details and answer any questions you may have regarding the walk and dontations.
