Desertification

Desertification is a type of land degradation in which a relatively dry land region becomes increasingly arid, typically losing its bodies of water as well as vegetation and wildlife. It is caused by a variety of factors, such as climate change and human activities.

Overpopulation

    Overpopulation is a function of the number of individuals compared to the relevant resources, such as the water and essential nutrients they need to survive. It can result from an increase in births, a decline in mortality rates, an increase in immigration, or an unsustainable biome and depletion of resources.

How does lack of education lead to the problems above?

Well with no education they have no understanding of disease or no way of knowing anything about it, And with no education they have no way of knowing that segregation is wrong and that they can do nothing about. Also without an good education they can't get good jobs to build schools so they can't get an education
