Hello Homeschoolers!!

Ringing in the new year for some may include new resolutions or goal setting. In my 8th year of homeschooling, my resolution combines getting back on track with our studies (one of my resolutions every year) and also allowing myself grace when I falter. Please do be kind to yourself and your children (younger or older). Easing back into routines is difficult, doing too much too soon can overwhelm you mentally. Now is an excellent time to look over your calendar. Too many extracurriculars? Need more one-on-one time with your student?

Now is the opportunity to organize. Just remember... be patient.

Lending Libraries Going Mobile!

Lending Libraries Going Mobile!

We have some important changes to our lending library system coming in 2020. We will be moving to a mobile lending library system. Please see the letter from our administration regarding these changes. We are excited about this change and the access this will bring to more of our families.


Have Lending Library items to drop off?

Families may drop off items at the Corona Lending Library. We have a drop off box in the front entrance for their convenience.

Field Trip Tip!

It can be difficult to remember the dates and times of field trips we've booked, but you can find all the details on Inspiration Station by following these steps:


1. Log in to www.icsinspirationstation.net and you will see “Hi (your name)” on the top right, with a little drop-down arrow next to it. *Tip: if you're on your phone, just turn it horizontally and this will show.


2. Press the arrow and it will offer the option of viewing “My Account.”


3. Click on "My Account" and it will list all of the field trips you have signed up for. This includes all the links to the pages where you signed up, so you can find the lead teacher's name, email address, and phone number!

The Parent Testing Resources website is complete and ready for you to check out! Here you can find information about the assessments that Inspire offers to its students. Inspire hopes to partner with parents to help students be as successful as possible. We hope you find the resources on this website helpful to increase your understanding of the assessments we give and empower you to prepare your child as they come upon these tests during their educational career.

Parents learned a bit during last Wednesday’s Inspiring Parents webcast, which asked the questions: Am I Doing Enough? Am I Doing This Right?. The session was recorded. It helps a lot if you click on the link below, it automatically collects your email into a spreadsheet. This makes it easier to respond to the hundreds of requests for the link to the webcast recording and resources. http://bit.ly/InspiringParents_010820


Inspiring Parents meets the first Wednesday of each month from 1-2 pm, where homeschooling parents can learn tips to grow their teaching toolkit.


On February 5, we focus on writing.

Note: Main Program students who start with Inspire on/before November 30, 2019, may opt-out of the OSP and receive an additional $400 in Instructional Funds in lieu of the Online Subscription Package.


The $400 opt-out funds will be added to student's accounts in the Enrichment Ordering System (EOS) on February 1, 2020, for students who opt-out. Students must submit their opt-out preference in order to receive the $400 in additional funds on February 1st.

Students enrolled in a package offering with an approved vendor are not eligible to receive the opt-out funds if they decide to opt-out. Please refer to the Vendor Package page for more information.


Students who enroll late and start with Inspire on/after December 1, 2019, are not eligible to receive the opt-out funds if they decide to opt-out.

Hi everyone! I am a mom of 3 awesome kids ranging in age from 11 to 7 years old. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have been married for 16 years. Having homeschooled our children over the last 7 years in 3 different states, I've found homeschooling here in California, especially with Inspire Charter, has been a great fit for our homeschool journey. I am grateful for our ability to homeschool so freely and I aspire to assist other families with their own homeschool adventures!
