During the long winter for the Ojibwe all the family's in the tribe would spreed out and fend for them selves for the winter,the reason they did this was because of how scarce the food was.when the men hunted the children gathered berries and fished for food.

During the harsh winter the men were hinting and the wemon were making clothes so what were the children doing.The kids would play winter games like snow snake,snow snake is were you gat a fake snake a slide it on the ground and ho ever snake go's the farthist wins.Tobogganing was a very fun activites that the children apsoulutly loved it,tobogganing it like sleding were you go down a hill and have a good time.
