Hallway Supervision/Student Traffic Pattern
The administration is piloting a new system for supervising hallways and monitoring student traffic patterns during class time. We anticipate that this initiative will create a small school feel in a very large building. Starting on Monday 5/9 and continuing until the end of the school year we will pilot this new hallway supervision system during all C periods.
The building will be divided into 3 main areas.
E&F Halls ABCDH Halls J&K Halls
During class time students will be expected to remain in the hallway that corresponds to their scheduled class.
Example:
Student has class in F202. During the class period they may not leave E/F hall unless they have a pass indicating the need to be in another part of the building (House Office/Medical/Main Office. Students will be issued a bathroom pass as needed to use the restrooms in E & F hallways only.
In the event that a student fails to comply with these expectations, leaves the building to circumvent these expectations, or opens an exterior door for another student, they will be subject to consequences per the FPS Code of Character, Conduct, and Support. All students are expected to enter FHS through the front door between the hours of 7:30-2:00pm.
Corredores E&F Corredores ABCDH Corredores J&K

Finished with your test-prep books or College Guides? Save a tree and gain some space on your bookshelf by donating them to the FHS Library.
The FHS Library will gladly take your gently-used practice books for SATs, ACTs, AP exams, ASVAB exams, and drivers' tests; as well as college guides like Fiske's and Princeton Review. Then the Library will pay it forward and give them away to any students who need them next year. Just bring them to the Library front desk or drop them in the book return bin. Thank you!
