SEL News from the desk of Amy Argubright
Hello! Each week, the SEL newsletter focuses on a different SEL competency and includes valuable resources and activities that you can use to promote well-being at home or in the classroom. This week's topic is Self-Awareness and Building Confidence. For teens, their self-confidence can be tested when faced with changes in their physical appearance, social group(s), family expectations, or abilities. As students develop self-awareness, they can become more accepting of who they are and learn to better self-manage when confronted with issues that could impact their self-confidence and self-esteem.
I am happy to be here to support the students, staff, and families of CMS! Have a great week!
