Dear Fourth Grade Families,
This week I want to take the opportunity to say "Thank you" for your "InvolveMINT" in all of our Jeffries', PTA, and Student Council, sponsored activities!!! We have IGNiTE night on the roster for tomorrow evening!! Hope that you can make it! Please see below.

Holiday Grams
To spread some holiday cheer, Student Council will be selling Holiday Grams again this year. The money raised will directly go to our Leadership Program. Holiday Grams will be sold from 8:20am-9:00am on December 5th-16th. They will also be sold at IGNiTE night. Click here for more details.
Holiday Night
Student Council will be sponsoring a Holiday Craft, Minute-to-Win-It, and Carol Sing-a-Along night on December 19th from 6:00-7:00pm. There will be hot chocolate and popcorn available for purchase, but everything else will be free. Student Council is asking for a donation of a stuffed animal in return for attending this event. The stuffed animals will be given to children spending the holidays in the hospital.
WINTER PARTY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our Classroom Winter Party is coming up on Wednesday, Dec. 21st, from 2:30-3:20!! If you would like to volunteer for this party, please complete the form below. Thank you SO much for considering!!! I would love for this to be the most wonderful Winter Party ever for Team Eske! Thank you so much to those parents who have already signed up.

DEC. 5-9 HOLiDAY GIvInG DriVE Sponsored by PTA/STUDENT COUNCIL
PTA/Student Council Holiday Drive (Dec. 5-9th)
We are collecting NEW Women's & Men's size hats, gloves, scarfs and socks.
They will be donated to the Rare Breed.
SUBJECT NOTIFICATIONS: On
Math: Chapter 5 will continue to strengthen our skills when completing 2-Digit by 2-Digit multiplication and estimation. Chapter 5 is a fast unit, and we are quickly approaching the test already!!! We will review tomorrow and test on Tuesday.
Science: Exploring circuits is on the agenda for this week.
Writing: Finishing our BIOPOEM and ACROSTIC poem will be on our list of things to do for poetry. We will also explore how to do a Couplet, Shape Poem, Haiku, Cinquain, and Diamante. We will collect the poems to be sent home before Winter Break.n:)

December 1st: Ozark Food Harvest Grocery Food Distribution (9:30-10:30AM) at Jeffries
December 2nd: Leadership Assembly 9:30am
December 5th: IGNiTE Parent Night at Jeffries from 6:00-7:00pm
December 5th - 16th: Holiday Gram sales
December 16th: Carver Carolers will come sing in halls and cafeteria at 11:00AM
December 19th: Holiday Night 6:00-7:00pm
December 21st: End of 2nd Quarter; It's a Winter Wonderland! (Staff and students can dress up as a snowman, elf, reindeer, etc.) All school assembly (choir performs) 9:30AM; Winter Parties 2:30-3:30PM
December 22nd - January 3rd: Winter Break - No School
