Happy Spring!

Baseball, flowers blooming, and the promise of warm weather! I hope everyone is well- rested and ready to make the final push as we near the end of our school year. Our teachers are continuing to delve into academics, have fun in their physical education classes, and are enjoying their creative talents in our art classes. As always, we have a whole lot going on this month. Please check our website often and remember you can also follow us on social media for the latest updates.

March was filled with a variety of opportunities for the students to engage in academic and social activities. To kick off the month, Atco Elementary began with Read Across America. Each day the children participated in a fun, school-wide activity to support literacy in the classroom. Community members were invited in to read to the children as well as mystery readers. In mid March, the kindergarten classes participated in an Egg Hunt, which is always very exciting for the children. As March came to a close, the students enjoyed an assembly to encourage participation in the Color Run. Stay tuned... Atco Elementary School is looking forward to welcoming our grandparents for Grandparents Day in late April.
