Project Team
Moving forward, we will be more focused on a character. We will begin with Harper, she will be the focus of the next 2 weeks. Please take some time during your morning meeting and Science/Social Studies/Health time to talk about Harper. All the information you need can be found in the Project Team folder that Mrs. Austin shared.
In a nutshell, Harper is about helping others. Here are some simple ideas (ways to earn tickets) to discuss with your class:
- Sharing - Telling the truth - Helping a TEAMmate with a word or math problem that is hard - Asking how a friend is feeling if s/he looks sad - Saying, “Good Job!” to a friend who got an award - Taking turns - Following class rules - Asking how a friend is feeling if s/he looks sad - Raising your hand - Pushing in your chair - Sitting quietly - Listening when someone else is talking
