President Barack H. Obama
Barack H. Obama is the 44th President of the U.S. with his father born and from Kenya and his mom born and from Kansas while Barack Obama was born and from Hawaii on Aug. 4, 1961. He was raised with the help from his grandfather, who served in Patton's army, and help from his grandmother who worked her way up from the secretarial pool to middle management at the bank.
After working his way through college with the help of his scholarships and student loans, Obama moved to... Chicago. Where he worked with a group of churches to helprebuild communities devastated by the closure of the local steel plants.
Obama went to attend law school where he had become the first Afercan-American President of the Harvard Law Review. Upon the graduation, he had returned to Chicago to help lead a voter registration drive and to teach constitutional law at the University of Chicago, and remain active in his community.
Barack Obama's years of public service are based around his unwavering belief in the ability to unite the people around a politics of porpose in the Illinois State Senate, he has passed the first major ethics reform in 25 years, cut taxes for the working families, and expanded health care for children and their parents. As a United States Senator, he has reached across the aisle to pass groundbreaking lobbying reform, locked up the worlds most dangerous weapons, finally to bring transparency to goverment by putting the federal spending online.
President Barack H. Obama was elected the 44th president of the United States on Nov. 4, 2008, and sworn in on Jan. 20, 2009. Now he is 51 years old, 6 foot 1, a father of two beautiful daughters, and he is married to Mecheal Obama.
