Before The War
Before the war a women's most common employment options were a domestic servant, a teacher, a nurse, or an office worker. However that would change at the start of World War 1.
War Brought Oppurtunities
At the start of the war there were a lot of job vacancies because of the men that left to fight. So they had to be filled somehow. That is were the women started doing the men's job. That proved that women weren't just for house or office work.
