8th Report Cards: RCs are in your boxes. Please hand out to students Monday morning in Advisory for them to take home. 8th team - please add this info to your 8th parent info message.

Headphones & SBAC: We need to know how many kids in your Advisory class will NOT be bringing headphones for testing. Please email Taniia & Jon your counts by 4/6.
Q3 trash pick-up: Tue 4/3-Holdredge & Sakanari; Wed 4/4-Qasmi & Kees; Fri 4/6-Ounkeo & Davis.
HS Counselor Visitation: HS Counselors will be visiting 8th Advisory classes the week of 4/9-4/13 to help students sign up for their HS classes. Please view your calendar to see when a visit is coming your way! Chromebooks are needed as the selection process has gone Googly and have already been reserved for your visit. HS is asking that you review the forms before their visit to cut down on questions and mistakes. Info was emailed to you and copies are in the 8th team folder. More info to come!
Vision Screening: All 8th graders will be getting their vision screened on Thursday 4/12 in I-2 via Hara and Miller's classes.
Book Talk: Please remember to finish your book! Book talk is 4/19.
Missing Diamond Stud: Mrs. Clark is missing a diamond stud that fell out of her earring. A reward of $100 is being offered for any student that turns it in to her.
PARENTS & FAMILIES:
- NP3 HS Information: 8th grade students who will be attending NP3 High will select courses the week of April 9th with HS Counselors and their current Advisory teacher. Copies will be sent home for parent verification. Please see attachments for more information about upcoming dates and a copy of the course selection sheet your student will be completing. If you have any questions, please contact your student's counselor.
- Booster Meeting: The next Booster Meeting is 4/9 6:30pm in NP3 Library! Snacks are provided and we love your support!
- Run for Rhett: Practices have resumed! Please join Mondays and Wednesdays after school on the track!
- College Making it Happen: This event is at Sacramento State on 4/14. It's intended primarily for 6th-9th grade students and their families and provides practical and easy-to-understand information on how to prepare academically and financially for college. - Vision Screening: All 8th graders will be vision screened on Thur 4/12. Parents will be notified if any concerns are discovered. Please let us know if you have any questions.
- Let's Get Rolling: The Event Planners Action Team has planned an event for all MS students on 4/13 from 6:30-9:00pm at Foothill Farms Roller Rink. Come join the fun and see Ms. Missio for questions!
- SBAC testing: SBAC is administered in April. Please make sure your student is well rested and on time for school. Testing dates: 6th grade students April 16-20; 7th grade students April 23-27; 8th grade students April 16-27.
- Save the Date: We are excited to invite all of our families to Leadership Day! Save the date for 5/9 at 6pm.
