Note: CPTO Meeting Tuesday, 3/29, 6:30 PM, CCC
March 24, 2022
This week is flying by as we begin our last quarter of the school year.
Good news! Next week we are going back to having Monday Morning Prayer in the Collaboration and Communication Center at school. We all love coming together to start our week off on a positive note. Please come join us as the kindergarten students lead prayer on Monday, March 28. We will continue livestreaming on Facebook for the benefit of parents who can't make it and for grandparents who aren't in town.
Mark your calendar for our Annual Fine Arts and Leadership Showcase on Saturday, April 9, immediately following 5 PM Mass. Every preschool through grade 8 student will have artwork on display. Cruise through the gym to view the art and then head over to the school to learn about Service Learning Leadership Projects. Students are excited to have this chance to share how they have used the leadership principles of the Leader in Me to put their faith in action and make a difference. End the evening with cookies, juice, and of course a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Good luck to our participants in the Middle School Band Solo Ensemble at Don Bosco this weekend. All that practice will pay off!
Blessings,
Lynette Hackett
P.S. Don't forget that tomorrow is Charger Friday. K-8 students may wear any St. Patrick or Columbus top. Speaking of St. Patrick gear, due to changes with our supplier, we will only be ordering the embroidered items periodically throughout the year. We will let you know when we reactivate that section of the Charger Webstore this summer for purchasing items for next fall.

FAITH
Student Mass is always the highlight of our week! On Wednesday, Fr. Ivan had assistance from Lily F. during his homily about the Prodigal Son. I am sure all of the students will remember the lesson--ask your child!
Gr. 3-8 Sharpen the Saw Night Monday, March 28, 6-8 PM
Let your child(ren) show, teach, and play games with you! We are excited about our first Sharpen the Saw Night! Students must have at least one adult present. Sharpen the Saw is the 7th habit of the Leader in Me. It's the one in which you make time to do something you enjoy or make time to learn something new!
Discover St. Patrick School Open House, Friday, April 8
Periodic open house days have been so well received by interested families that we are offering another one! Please spread the word to your friends. It's a great chance to take a look and see if St. Patrick is a good fit for them. Signup is on our homepage.
Kindergarten Visit Day Wednesday, April 20, 8:30-11 AM
Incoming kindergartners will spend time in one of our kindergarten classrooms to be ready for the fall. Again, thanks for telling your friends about this opportunity! Register your student for this event
