2020 College Application Week - September 21st-25th
During College Application Week (CAW) OVCA High School will provide open office hours for seniors to receive help with college applications and have their questions about the application process answered. OVCA will also be holding workshops on college planning and financial aide including the FAFSA.
The following resources can help students successfully apply for college by showing what to expect from college applications, sample essay questions, specific applicant requirements and more.

Youth Leadership Oklahoma
YLOK Class 21 Referral
If you are a high school Junior during the 2020-2021 school year and would like to be contacted when the application for YLOK Class 21 is open, please complete the referral form.
When the Application for Selection becomes available, we will contact you and/or your referral with an application packet and a personal invitation to apply. We appreciate your interest in Youth Leadership Oklahoma Class 21!

YLOK APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be high school juniors or home-schooled equivalent.
Applicants must live in Oklahoma.
Applicants must have at least a 3.25 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Class members must attend the program week in its entirety, Sunday through Friday.
Class members must agree to abide by all Leadership Oklahoma policies and procedures.
Class members must make their own arrangements to travel to and from Oklahoma City to start and end the program. Transportation during the program is provided.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Applications must be received in the Leadership Oklahoma office no later than 5:00 p.m. on the deadline date. All applications can be submitted by mail, FED EX, UPS or hand delivered to the Leadership Oklahoma office. Emailed applications will be accepted but hard copies are preferred.
When mailing the application, please send four (4) applications to Youth Leadership Oklahoma: one (1) original and three (3) copies of the application.
Other than the one recommendation letter required and the reference form, no attachments are permitted. The recommendation letter and the reference form can be included with the application packet or sent directly to the Leadership Oklahoma office.
Applications must be typed and complete to be considered. Applicants download the application and reference form from the links above.
Please do not fold applications. They should be mailed in a 9×12 envelope.
The Youth Leadership Oklahoma selection committee will select approximately 50 participants based upon demonstrated leadership as well as gender, ethnic and geographic diversity.
Letters notifying applicants of the selection committee results will be mailed in March of the application year.
Seniors can begin submitting the FAFSA on October 1st-- The sooner you fill it out, the better!
