What's Happening on Campus?

The 7:30 Bell

We wanted to remind all of our families that students are able to come into the building when the bell rings at 7:30 am. We are noticing more and more students who are being dropped off before this time and are left unsupervised.

We ask that all parents stay with their students until the 7:30 bell rings. Your child's safety is very important to us and we do not have staff members available to be on duty prior to 7:30. Thank you very much for your help and understanding.

The KHES Pony Express is OPEN!

Parents, Pony Express is open for business! Don’t forget to send letters to your children through our FREE in-school mail system! There is a mailbox just outside the front office and in the foyer outside the cafe/gym area.

Running Club

Running Club will meet on Mondays 3:00-3:45, beginning Monday, September 28th, 2015. Students will run/walk laps around the back playing field or the bus loop (depending on conditions of the field). We will take a break during the winter and start back up in the spring when weather conditions are cooperating.

In case of inclement weather, a REMIND message will be sent at 2:30 if running club will be held or not and the front office will be notified. Please sign up for REMIND.

Just text the following message - @ba78c to this phone number - 81010

All students in grades 1st-4th are welcome to come by themselves. Kindergarten students will need an adult guardian to stay with them.

3rd & 4th grade Bucket Drumming

The sign up for Bucket Drumming club will be posted on the music room door Oct. 5th. Students can come by and sign up when the bell rings at 7:30 a.m. Rehearsals will begin Tuesday Oct. 13th from 7:30-8:00 a.m. and continue every Tuesday morning until May 16th. Attendance at rehearsals and performances is very important. If you have any questions, please contact our Music teacher, Tamara Masters. Her email address is tamara.masters@kellerisd.net
